Backdate Shopify orders and let customers fix their own address
RetroOrder is a Shopify app by NewClick that lets merchants backdate existing orders in bulk from the Orders page and lets customers change their own shipping address after checkout.
What RetroOrder does
Backdate orders in bulk
Select orders on the Orders page, choose “Backdate with RetroOrder”, pick a date. The new date shows on the order and in your Shopify reports.
Customer address changes
A “Change shipping address” block on the Thank-you and Order status pages lets shoppers fix a typo before you ship, without emailing support.
Safe by default
Backdating touches only the date. Address edits lock automatically once an order is fulfilled or cancelled, and only the order's own customer can edit.
Pricing

RetroOrder Unlimited · $9.99/month

Common questions
Can you change the order date in Shopify?
Not from the Shopify admin. Shopify has no built-in field for editing the date of an order that already exists. RetroOrder adds a "Backdate with RetroOrder" action to the Orders page that changes the order's processed date, which is the date Shopify displays on the order and uses in reports.
Is RetroOrder free?
Yes, the free plan backdates up to 10 orders per calendar month. RetroOrder Unlimited costs $9.99 per month after a 14-day free trial and adds unlimited backdating and customer self-serve shipping address changes.
Can customers change their shipping address after placing an order?
With RetroOrder Unlimited, a "Change shipping address" block appears on the Thank-you page and the Order status page. Customers can update the address on their own orders until the order is fulfilled or cancelled.
Does backdating change totals, products or customers?
No. Backdating only changes the order date. Line items, totals, taxes, the customer and fulfillment status stay the same.
